Formby Beach

Located on the Sefton Coast in Merseyside, Formby Beach has a beautiful, sandy beach which is perfect for kids to run free, build sandcastles, and splash in the sea, while the towering sand dunes are great for exploring. Nearby pine woods offer easy walking trails and the chance to spot rare red squirrels. There aren’t many facilities right on the beach, so it’s worth bringing a picnic and anything else you might need. It’s a simple, natural day out with plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy. It is a National Trust Beach so parking is free for members.
