Wheelock Rail Trail
The Wheelock Rail Trail is a popular 2km traffic free route for walking, scooters and bikes. It is on the outskirts of Sandbach, Cheshire. With it being an old rail way line, it is nice and wide at 3 meters wide, so it's easy to pass people going the opposite way. It is traffic free, so it's super safe and perfect for learning to ride a bike.
There are a few benches along the path, and you pass under a couple of interesting bridges along the way.

Millennium Walkway in New Mills Family Walks in Cheshire. I love a good walk, and even better if it has a beautiful view or a trig point. Sometimes children can find walking boring or tough going so I've tried to include walks which are interesting and not too challenging. Most of these walks my own daughters have done who are 9 and 12. A cafe or a place to get an ice cream is always a bonus on a walk and my girls love a trail to find things along the way. Here are some of my favourite child...
