Whitegate Way
Whitegate Way is an old disused railway line which makes a lovely walk near Winsford, Cheshire. Perfect for Bikes, Scooters and Pushchairs. The path stretching for six miles (10km) from the heart of Winsford to Cuddington, the route offers easy walking for all ages along a varied route.
The best place to join the walk is at Whitegate Station. This is where the Victoria Station House still stands and has since been turned into a cafe which is ran by volunteers. There is also a large free carpark, toilets and a picnic area.

Millennium Walkway in New Mills Family Walks in Cheshire. I love a good walk, and even better if it has a beautiful view or a trig point. Sometimes children can find walking boring or tough going so I've tried to include walks which are interesting and not too challenging. Most of these walks my own daughters have done who are 9 and 12. A cafe or a place to get an ice cream is always a bonus on a walk and my girls love a trail to find things along the way. Here are some of my favourite child...
