From bouncing on the giant jumping pillows and whizzing down crazy slides, to testing your aim with the Ball Blaster Arena or gliding around on the roller rink, there’s endless fun to be had. Add in tractor rides, adventure play zones, and the famous maize maze, and you’ve got a full day of excitement that’s sure to tire out even the most energetic explorers. Watch Out for 40% Off Offer

We’d been meaning to visit Apple Jacks Adventure Farm in Warrington for a while, so when I spotted their summer holiday offer of 40% off all tickets (code SOCIAL40 at checkout), it felt like the perfect excuse. Bargain secured, we packed up a picnic, bundled the kids (10 and 13) into the car, and set off for a Sunday family day out.

We got there just as it opened and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Even as the day went on, there were no queues at all — the kids could hop straight onto anything they fancied, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and stress-free.

The layout is nice and open, so we spent the day just wandering back and forth between activities — zip wires, jumping pillows, inflatable slides, roller skating, and archery. The kids loved being able to go from one thing to the next without hanging around.

In the summer months, you’ll also find a few extra fairground rides at Apple Jacks – a fun little add-on to your day out. 🎡 Each ride costs 3 tokens, which can be purchased at:

  • 1 token – £1

  • 12 tokens – £10

  • 25 tokens – £20

The rides include a Caterpillar Roller Coaster, a Ferris Wheel, and a Hot Air Balloon Ride – all gentle, family-friendly attractions that are perfect for younger children.

Take Aim

One of our favourites, which always has us in fits of giggles, is the Ball Blaster. It was adults versus kids as we loaded up our blasters with foam balls, took aim, and tried to hit each other in the face (don’t worry – the balls are super soft, so it doesn’t hurt!). The funniest moment is when you run out of ammo and someone has to make a dash into the centre to collect more balls, all while being an easy target for even more fire!

Picnic, Food & Chill Time

We’d brought our own picnic and found the big marquee perfect for a break, it’s not just shelter from the sun (or rain!), but there’s staff running disco and party games to keep the kids entertained while you eat. There are also loads of outdoor picnic tables if you want to stay in the fresh air.

Even though we didn’t buy food, I did notice the prices were surprisingly reasonable — burgers for around £4, plus sandwiches, chocolate bars, snacks, and ice creams. For a family attraction, that’s refreshing to see.

Our final thoughts

The best part of the day was how chilled it all felt. No rushing, no queuing, no “Mum, I’m bored” — just a steady loop of activities, giggles, and friendly staff. The size of the place means it’s easy to keep track of older kids without feeling like you’re doing endless laps yourself.

Apple Jacks Adventure Farm is brilliant value with this deal for an active family day out, especially with older kids who like to keep moving. By the time we left, my two were happily tired and already talking about coming back for Spooky World in the autumn.

Spooky World

When Halloween arrives, Apple Jacks transforms into Spooky World – the attraction it originally began as! 🎃 By day, families can enjoy spooky-themed fun that’s perfect for all ages, but as night falls, things take a scarier turn. Older kids will love the thrills of Spooky at Night, while the truly brave (adults only!) can take on Scary at Night. Dare to enter the haunted houses, where live actors are waiting to give you a fright you won’t forget… if you’re brave enough!
