🎳 Ten-Pin Bowling
There are 12 lanes, where you can challenge the family to see who can get the most strikes.
The lanes are fun and funky, with neon lighting, and each one has a big, comfy L-shaped sofa and coffee table, giving you somewhere to relax between goes.

One thing I noticed was that the staff enter your names at reception, so sadly there’s no option to add those ridiculous/funny bowling names we always like to make up!
The upside, though, was that our lane was ready to go as soon as we'd taken our coats off, so there was no messing around getting set up.
You can order food and drinks straight to your lane too, but we decided to eat afterwards because we were far too involved in watching each other's attempts at actually knocking those pins down!

🎡 Fairground Crazy Golf
There’s also a 12-hole fairground-themed crazy golf course, with each hole taking you through different fun fair-inspired settings, including bumper cars, the Wall of Death and a rather spooky haunted house.

The girls could climb into the teacups, sit in bumper cars and even jump onto a merry-go-round horse between shots, which made it more than just a game of crazy golf and gave us plenty of opportunities to get some funny photos along the way.
It took us around 30 minutes to complete the course, so it's a great activity to add alongside bowling.

There’s also a large arcade packed with games, including racing games, basketball, air hockey and video games.
The girls played a handful of games but, of course, once they spotted a cute plastic duck in the prize cabinet, they suddenly became very determined to win 200 tickets to take it home! 😂
🛝 Soft Play
If you’re visiting with younger children, there’s a soft play area too, with climbing frames, slides, tunnels and plenty of space for little ones to burn off some energy.
The soft play is designed for children under 12, so this is a particularly useful addition if you’re visiting with younger children who might not be quite as interested in bowling or crazy golf.

There’s a full bar serving drinks including slushies, milkshakes and cocktails, so there’s something for both the kids and adults.
Food-wise, there are pizzas, hot dogs, chicken wings, lots of sides, kids' meals and various offers, making it possible to feed a hungry family without spending a fortune.
We went for a pizza loaded with spicy meat and hot honey, chicken wings, chicken tenders, waffle fries and garlic bread between the four of us. It was definitely enough to keep us going after all that competitive activity!

🎯 What Else Is There?
Next to the bar you'll find interactive darts and a few pool tables. I thought this gave the venue a slightly more grown-up feel. If your older kids have started to outgrow soft play and aren't particularly bothered about crazy golf, darts or pool could be a good alternative.
📍 A Great Location
One of the biggest advantages of Disco Bowl Warrington is its location. It’s right in the centre of Golden Square Shopping Centre, so you can easily combine your visit with a bit of shopping, or head out to one of the nearby restaurants afterwards if you fancy eating somewhere other than the Disco Bowl food.
