We had such a brilliant time at Heatherton! When the kids are running around laughing, smiling, and fully engaged in fun activities, that’s the perfect day out for me. I really appreciate the flexibility—there’s no entry fee, and you only pay for the activities you choose, which is ideal for families.
If we lived nearby, I’d absolutely go for the biggest credit bundle and spread it out over multiple visits. We went during the May half term and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly busy. Queues were short, and everything was really well laid out and easy to navigate. It's a must visit when on a holiday in Tenby.

How it Works
How it works is that it's free to enter, and then you buy credits. We got a family pass of 30 credits for £89 which we could share between us. We found the to be a great amount for us to use in one day. Most rides were only 1 or 2 credits The girls mainly used them but us parents had a couple of goes in things too. If you don't manage to use them in one day you actually have 6 months to use them. So you can come over a few different days, doing a few activities at a time.
Current Prices (May 2025 prices)
30 Credits £89.00
40 Credits £112.00
100 Credits £275.00
🌞 🌧 Ok for all Weathers!
It's open all year round and has plenty to do in both dry and wet weather. The day we visited was a perfect example, it started off dry and warm but turned cold, had showers and a massive downpour right at the end. We managed to go on lots of the activities and even enjoyed a game of snakes and ladders in light rain.
Wrap up warm, zip up tour coat and put comfy trainers on.

🚘 Go Karts - 2 credits
We started with the junior go karts, which were definitely one of our favourites of the day. The girls got kitted up with their overalls and helmet and got in their cars on the start line.
As they are under 14 they went in the junior karts. There are also adult karts which go much faster for the adrenaline-seeking adults. The track was big and wide, so you could have a really good go at driving and overtaking. They got a good amount of time going round too.

🎯 Archery - 1 credit
My eldest loved this one. You got 6 practice arrows and then 6 proper shots to see if you can make it on the scoreboard. The staff running this are really patient while you take your shots and supportive if you don't get any points.

🐉 Dragon Slide - 1 credit
This was such a surprise to find at Heatherton. Two absolutely massive slides you go down in sat on a rubber ring. We went on these in the morning and then again in the afternoon after it had rained. The rain made the slides even faster which was amazing. The girls went on these quite a few times so this is a must try when you visit.

🚗 Driving School - 1 credit
This is a great one for younger children. Get in an electric car and have a go at driving it around the pretend streets with traffic lights to stop at and corners to maneuver.

🚗 Pembrokeshire Raceway - 1 credit
Another favourite was the Pembrokeshire Raceway, which is a massive indoor Scalextric with 8 cars racing against each other for 6 minutes. It was really fun watching the cars tumble off the track if going too fast on the corners.
💦 Water Wars - 1 credit
One credit gets you 10 balloons to fill with water. Then load them into the slingshot and fire them at your opponents. Warning! You will get wet if they have a good aim. Taps didnt work that well but luckily no one else was waiting to play.

🛝 Inflatable slide - 1 credit
Always a winner, climb up the stairs, and fling yourself down the massive bouncy slide. You got 6 minutes on this.
🧗♀ Zip Wire - 3 credits
There is a big wooden tower you climb up. Once at the top, take a big breath and clip onto a long zipwire. There are a few lines so you can race your friends down the exhilarating 165m zipline.

🚣♂ Bumper Boats - 1 credit
These inflatable boats have a proper petrol engine. Either 1 or 2 people can fit in the boats and drive them around the water course. It was really fun to bump into other boats and to steer as you can end up spinning around lots.

💰 Free things to do
There are a few things to do which dont need any credits. There is Merlin's Adventure Playground, mini sand diggers and giant floor games. The girls absolutely loved the giant snakes and ladders so we played this 3 times and even when it was raining. There is also the arcades and games area where of course you have to pay to use the games but its part of the free entry areas.

There is plenty other activities that we didn't get round to doing including the adventure golf, bouncing pillows, maize maze, indoor soft play, baseball and water zorbs.
🍔 Food & Drink
There are a few different cafes or food stalls around the site, all of them have a good choice of hot food and drinks. There is the Tree Tops Cafe and "The Triangle Restaurant" plus a few takeaway stalls to grab and go drinks and snacks.
🥪 Bring a Picnic
You are welcome to bring a picnic from home. There is plenty of seating, some of which is under cover when a bit cold or wet.
🐕 Dog friendly
Dog on a lead are welcome and they even have a dog agility area.
💰 Additional Activities to Pre Book
There are also a fee bugger activities on the site which you can book separately which dont work on the credit system. Including
🔐 Escape Room
🌳 Tree Top Experience
🎨 Paintballing

🌳 Junior Tree Top Experience
We booked the girls to do the Junior Tree Top Experience when we got there. This was £15.95 each. You get 30mins up on the course, where you can go round as many times you can in the time. Unfortunately the girls did get stuck behind some slower children so only managed to go round twice but i guess this can't be helped. They still had a great time and there were some interesting challenges like a rock climbing wall, skateboard and of course a zip wire at the end to come down on.
The girls were super confident on the course, they probably were more suited to the senior course which is for over 10 years but this was a nice smaller addition to our day.
As the girls were so confident they had fun dancing along the obstacles which had them giggling rather than scared in any way.
