🎃 🐑 Seasonal Events at Bates Farm 🎄
One of the reasons families return to Bates Farm year after year is their fantastic calendar of seasonal events.
🐑 Meet the Lambs
Springtime brings one of the farm's most popular experiences.
Families can meet and cuddle newborn lambs, learn about life on the farm directly from the farmers and, if you're lucky, even witness live lambing. It's a brilliant opportunity for children to connect with farming and learn more about where their food comes from.
🎃 Pumpkin Patch
When autumn arrives, Bates Farm transforms into one of the region's most impressive pumpkin patches.
With more than 30,000 home-grown pumpkins and over 50 different varieties, you'll find everything from classic orange pumpkins to white, yellow, striped and wonderfully knobbly pumpkins. There are plenty of photo opportunities, farm animals to meet and seasonal treats to enjoy, including autumn-inspired drinks and delicious cakes.
📅 The pumpkin patch is open every weekend from the end of September through to the end of October.
🎄 Christmas Carols in the Barn
As the festive season approaches, Bates Farm becomes a magical Christmas destination.
Their interactive Christmas Carol Concert brings together festive favourites, heart-warming nostalgia and plenty of Christmas cheer. Working alongside one of the UK's leading Gospel Choirs, the performances offer a high-energy and contemporary take on traditional carols.
Before the show, visitors can browse the Christmas market and enjoy festive food and drink including Yorkshire pudding wraps, mulled wine, mince pies and indulgent hot chocolates.
It's a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season with family and friends.
Worth a visit
Whether you're visiting for a coffee and cinnamon bun, enjoying one of the pop-up food events, taking part in the weekly farm run, cuddling lambs in spring or searching for the perfect pumpkin in autumn, Bates Farm offers something special in every season.
Combining a real working farm with relaxed and feel good family experiences, it's one of Warrington's most wholesome destinations and a place you'll want to return to throughout the year.
