Their ice cream is lovingly made in small batches using fresh milk from Davies Dairies in nearby Ashley. With no artificial flavours, colours or additives, each scoop is a celebration of natural, homemade goodness. They offer 18 scoopable flavours alongside tubs to take home, and you’ll find inventive options that go beyond your usual vanilla and chocolate—toast & marmalade and watermelon & mint were two that caught our eye.
🥪 Lets do Lunch
On a sunny afternoon, I took my mum along for a visit, and we were instantly charmed by the peaceful countryside setting. Their courtyard is a real sun trap, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a stroll around Mobberley. We started with lunch, opting for their freshly made bagels, which were as impressive as the setting. My smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel was packed with filling—and plenty of crunchy salad too. Mum’s hummus, falafel, and sundried tomato bagel was equally divine, with an interesting flavour combo.
🍦 Homemade Ice Creams
Naturally, ice cream was a must. After sampling a few unique flavours—and they truly are unique—I can honestly say I’ve never seen options like “Toast and Marmalade” or “Watermelon & Mint” before. The variety means you’ll just have to keep coming back to try them all. It was also great to see dairy-free ice cream available, rather than the usual sorbet you find everywhere. Plus, some flavours were clearly labelled as gluten-free, which I love to see. We chose the Dark Rum & Raisin and Apple Pie—both creamy, indulgent, and absolutely delicious. We took our ice creams back out to the sunny courtyard to enjoy.
But if the British weather doesn’t cooperate on your visit? No worries—there’s a cosy indoor seating area to enjoy your treats in comfort.

Mobberley Ice Cream Company is also brilliant for families. Indoors, little ones can enjoy books and colouring, while outside there’s a selection of ride-on toys, tractors, and a giant chalkboard—perfect entertainment for kids while parents enjoy a quiet coffee and chat.

Not forgetting the furry members of the family—dogs are welcome too! The menu even features 'Snoop Dog Ice Cream' just for them. Plus, there are some lovely dog walks nearby to enjoy before or after your visit
