Brill Menu Options

In the Coffee House you’ll find a great menu with something for everyone, from the classics such as sandwiches, toasties, and jacket potatoes to more filling options including daily specials like vegetable chilli, omelettes, or classic ham, egg, peas, pineapple and chips! And of course, there’s an array of homemade cakes and sweet treats waiting on the counter, making it the kind of place you’ll want to linger.

My Visit

I popped in recently for lunch with my sister-in-law, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish.

The menu instantly impressed us with a great balance of classics alongside homely specials. After a bit of deliberation, I couldn’t resist trying their homemade quiche. What really struck me straight away was that when I asked about the “quiche of the day,” I was given not one but three choices! I went for the spinach and feta, which sounded lush.

Proper Tasty Food

When the food arrived, it had that real wow factor. My individual quiche was perfectly presented, served with proper homemade chips (crispy, golden, and far superior to standard frozen ones) and a fresh salad. The pastry was light, the filling was creamy and the whole thing was a lovely flavour, every bite was delicious.

Across the table, my sister-in-law’s bacon, brie, and cranberry toastie looked just as good, generously filled and served with salad, crisps, and coleslaw. Both plates were jam-packed with tasty homemade food, the kind that makes you wonder if you’ll have any room left for pudding…

Always Room for Cake

Of course, we eventually made room. After catching up over our drinks and a long sisterly chat, we decided to share a slice of carrot cake. Moist, yummy, and packed with walnuts, it was every bit as good as it looked. The perfect sweet ending to our meal.

Final Thoughts

We left the Coffee House at Rose Farm genuinely impressed. The food was gorgeous and the staff were so attentive and friendly too. The cafe had that unmistakable homemade touch that makes a café stand out from the crowd. With welcoming staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of choice, it’s definitely a spot I’ll be returning to and one I’d wholeheartedly recommend you try for yourself.

If you’re nearby, make sure to stop by for lunch, a slice of cake, or even just a coffee, you won’t be disappointed.
