First off i have got to say how impressed i was with this accommodation and how it was a lovely place to stay. There are so many good points to list from how comfy the lodge was, how colourful and fun the whole area was and how good the staff and running of the place is.

Accommodation:
We stepped inside our standard wooden lodge to find a fun and colourful bedroom perfect for the whole family. The layout was simple, but it had all the comfy essentials you need. Each lodge features natural wooden touches and cool LEGO surprises that kids will love—think forest animal-themed beds and awesome LEGO models of butterflies and badgers.

The kids have their own little room just off the main bedroom, complete with bunk beds, a curtain they can draw at bedtime, their own TV, and a LEGO play area. There’s even a pull-out trundle bed, so the room can sleep up to three children.

⭐ One clever touch: there’s a padlocked cupboard we originally thought was for the cleaner. Then we discovered a puzzle sheet in the room—solve it to find the code to the lock! When we opened it, my daughter was thrilled to find a stash of LEGO goodies inside.

Adults get a comfy double bed with a big TV on the opposite wall, along with plenty of storage, a fridge, a hairdryer, and coffee-making bits. We even found a travel cot tucked into one of the drawers. The whole lodge is bright, colourful, and super clean.

Outside, there’s a cute wooden terrace with a table and chairs—perfect for sitting out in warmer weather with a drink while the kids play on the grass and enjoy the nearby play area.

Let’s Play:
Outside, each cluster of lodges has its own small play area—each one a little different. All guests also have access to the main play area, located just outside the Clubhouse.
The play areas at Woodland Village perfectly match the woodland vibe—it’s all about nature, imagination, and giving kids space to have fun. The main play area features a wooden climbing frame, slides, and balance beams that look like they’ve been built right out of the forest. There’s loads for kids to climb, crawl, and bounce on.

Best of all, the main play area can be viewed from the Clubhouse terrace, so parents can relax with a drink while the kids go wild. It’s the perfect way to burn off that last bit of energy after a day in the theme park—because some kids just never stop! It all adds an extra layer of fun to the LEGOLAND Woodland Village experience.

The Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar:
The Clubhouse is nature-themed, with a cosy terrace perfect for evening drinks and a well-stocked bar for grown-ups to unwind. At the heart of it all is a LEGO campfire surrounded by heaps of LEGO bricks for free play—a brilliant touch that kept my daughter entertained for hours.

She absolutely loved building and even entered the LEGO Building Competition. We even chatted about possibly setting up a LEGO area at home because she enjoyed it so much.
To top it all off, the next morning I received a text letting us know she had won the competition! She was thrilled to receive a certificate for her efforts—it made her day and was such a lovely memory to take away from our stay
There was some evening entertainment on while we relaxed with a drink, but it was mostly geared towards younger children, so it didn’t fully capture our kids' attention. It included a character meet and greet and some storytelling—lovely touches for little ones, even if ours weren’t quite as engaged.

Drinks in the Bar
If you want to just have a seat and enjoy a drink at the bar you don't need to pre book a table but i would recommend arriving early to get a good seat. It is really easy to order, by using the tablet on each table to order and pay for your drinks. They came really quickly and there is a good choice of drinks including, draft beers, wine and cocktails.

Food at the Clubhouse Restaurant
While staying at the Woodland Village experience you have exclusive dining at The Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar, with its rustic, campfire-inspired menu. Think hearty, family-friendly dishes with a woodland twist The restaurant is designed to appeal to both adults and kids with activity sheets, interactive décor, and a varied menu which includes burgers, ribs, fish, pasta and salads for the adults and classics for the kids like spag bol, burger and bangers and mash, i had to laugh at the well named salad option of "Rabbit Food"
The menu is on the more expensive side especially the children's meals. 2 courses for children is £23 (May 25) and adult main meals are between £17 - £38. There are some options to have a lighter bite even when sitting in the bar area or pizzas to share.
Get a Takeaway Delivered:
We decided to skip the restaurant and go for the ultimate laid-back option—ordering Uber Eats straight to Woodland Village reception. While we waited for our food to arrive, we made the most of the evening with a couple of drinks in the Clubhouse. Once our delivery arrived, we headed back to our lodge and tucked in on the terrace—comfy, relaxed, and way less effort. With loads of takeaway options that deliver to LEGOLAND, it’s a brilliant choice if you're after something budget-friendly or have kids who are done for the day.
We personally ordered a KFC. One top tip though is to pack some picnic plates and cutlery to eat tour takeaway with.

Up Early for Breakfast
Since we booked fairly last minute, the breakfast time slots were a bit slim. We grabbed ours through a link after booking and ended up with the 7am option—mainly because the only other time was 9:30am, and we wanted to be making good use of our early park access by then. So, 7am it was… though I may have “forgotten” to mention that little detail to the rest of the family until the alarm went off!

Breakfast offered a choice between a full cooked fry-up or loaded pancakes, along with a small self-serve selection of juices, cereals, and pastries. I went for the cooked breakfast, which was absolutely huge—two of everything! It was really tasty, well-cooked, and nicely presented. You can customise your order too, so my daughter kept it simple with just fried eggs and toast, which suited her perfectly.

Making the Most of Your LEGOLAND® Short Break
Staying overnight at LEGOLAND® really levels up your visit! Guests at Woodland Village get early park access from 9:15am, while those in the Resort Hotels can enter from 9:30am—giving you a head start before the gates officially open at 10. Although only four rides are open during this early window, it’s usually enough time to tick off a couple of favourites before the main crowds arrive. (On our visit, a slight delay meant we didn’t hit our first ride until 9:35am—but we still got a good start!)
The park entrance is a quick 10-minute stroll from Woodland Village, with the car park conveniently in between. Check-out is at 10am, so after breakfast, you can load up the car and head straight into a full day of fun.
Want to double the excitement? Go for a two-day adventure—arrive early and dive into a day of rides and LEGO building, then unwind in the evening while the kids keep building in the play zones. After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, you’re all set for round two in the park!
LEGO Adventure Mini Golf
On your over night stay another activity you can book is world’s first indoor golf experience themed entirely around LEGO® It’s a great addition to any LEGOLAND short break or a stand-alone visit for locals and day-trippers alike. With its indoor setting and imaginative LEGO® touches, it’s an all-weather activity suitable for the whole family.
Prices start from £10 pp but hotel guests get a discount. Watch out for offers such as a FREE game when staying over which is currently running this May 2025

Overall Experience
We loved our stay at the Woodland Village. It was so nice to sit outside and let the girls play into the early evening. The rooms were cosy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. I especially appreciated the texting service—it made it so easy to request extra pillows or anything else we needed.
The whole place is incredibly aesthetically pleasing—fun, colourful, and full of playful touches. It genuinely made me smile just walking around. For any LEGOLAND fan, a stay at Woodland Village really adds that extra layer of magic to your visit, completely packed with LEGO details.
Watching my daughter spend the evening happily building LEGO, whether in the restaurant or back at our lodge, made it a truly lovely family break—one of those memories I’ll look back on with a big smile. If you would like to see more about the Lodges and price up a stay Click Here
